What are the first steps to commissioning my own luxury wearable artwork?

Once your design is submitted and your initial deposit is received, your spot will be secured, and you’ll officially be added to our waitlist.

What is the “design questionnaire”?

Our design questionnaire is a tool to inspire and guide your ideas. Whether you have a clear vision or are starting fresh, it sparks creativity and helps us understand your unique style and the vision you want to bring to life.

How long is your waitlist?

Our waitlist is typically about a month, but this is an estimate. Use this time to gather design inspiration and prepare your item for painting.

Can you tell me more about the digital mockup?

For efficiency, we start your digital mockup while your item is in transit. Once we finalize your vision, we’ll send over artwork concepts displayed on your exact product. Two rounds of revisions are included in the quoted cost.

Where can I look for inspiration?

Explore our website and Instagram for ideas. If you haven’t received our lookbook, feel free to reach out. You can also find plenty of inspiration online!

Will you help me decide what would look best?

Absolutely! Collaborating to bring your vision to life is our favorite part of the process. Whether you have a clear idea or don’t know where to start, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

What are your rates?

Each piece is one-of-a-kind, so pricing depends on the complexity of the design and the item. Our studio will provide a detailed estimate after learning more about your vision. You’ll cover the cost of shipping your item to us, with complimentary return shipping included.

What is your deposit policy?

All deposits are non-refundable and are valid for up to one year from the date of payment.

Do you source the product?

You will be responsible for choosing, purchasing, and delivering the product to us.
At this time, we do not offer sourcing or fulfillment services for commission projects.

Can you design on preloved items?

Absolutely.  Don't listen to anyone that tells you otherwise!

Is there a minimum quantity?

No minimums are required.

How should I care for my wearable artwork?

Avoid harsh chemicals, scratching, and aggressive rubbing to preserve the artwork. While the design won’t wash off in the rain, we recommend keeping your bag out of heavy downpours—or dancing in the rain with it!

Do you offer touchups?

LRM provides one complimentary touch-up for reasonable wear and tear within 2 months of purchase. After 2 months, touch-ups will be available for a fee.

Can the paint be removed?

Paint cannot be removed without covering the area with a new design, as the surface underneath is unrepairable. We can collaborate on creating a fresh design if needed.
